For as different as aluminum and glass are, you wouldn't think they have any similarities. However, both require complex and intense manufacturing processes and depletable natural resources. To their credit, both are completely recyclable.

Environmentally, the impact of recycling is incredible. Recycling saves enough energy to provide electricity to 1.4 million homes every year, reduces water pollution by 27,047 tons, and also reduces air pollution. Recycling a typical aluminum and glass window can save enough electricity to power a computer for over half an hour!
